The Eliminate Project SLP Subcommittee

Good afternoon, [LIONS]! 

Below you will find information on the Eliminate Project SLP subcommittee that has been provided by President Rebecca.

Sue Petrisin, the chairwoman of the Eliminate Project SLP subcommittee, has graciously allowed the International Board to extend the deadline for the selection of the Key Club representative on the SLP subcommittee for the upcoming year. 

For those of you that do not know what the SLP subcommittee is, the subcommittee advises Eliminate Project coordinators on SLP-related fundraising initiatives. It contains representatives from all of Kiwanis's SLPs, including Aktion Club, K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, and Circle K. The Key Club International Board has the responsibility of recommending several potential Key Club representatives for the committee to Chairwoman Sue Petrisin, who then interviews our nominees and makes a final selection.

In order to allow the International Board to make informed recommendations to Ms. Petrisin, the application process through Google forms is being used. The application has the same questions as the application distributed at International Convention in the Eliminate workshop, although applicants now have the option to submit one supplemental (optional) letter of recommendation from a faculty advisor or district adult to slp.recs@gmail.com.  The application form can be found at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFZMM3QxVTJqNjA2d1YtZ0pxdzhpaUE6MQ and is due on or before 11:59 EST/EDT Monday, August 20, 2012.

How To Subscribe To This Blog

1.   Find a text box undernath the header.  Enter in your e-mail into that text box (see image below).  Click the submit button off to the right.

Hello Division 41 South,

 

As I am typing out this message, I am boarding an aeroplane on my way to International Convention (ICON) Orlando 2012.

 

This means I will be away from the computer and will have very limited opportunities to answer phone calls, but I will still be able to be reached via e-mail (communication will still be delayed however).  In the event that an immediate response is needed, please direct your questions to our Region 3 Advsior, Mrs. Pong (epong119@aol.com), or to our executive assistants Joseph Olmo (olmo.joseph@gmail.com) or Austin Malis (austinmalis@gmail.com).  Even though I will be away from the den, don't forget to keep serving your communities and have a safe and fun July 4th!
