A Calling for all Spirit Coordinators!

Hello Division 41 South!

Even though our big events are a little ways away, we need to start working on our spirit and cheer to get the gold ... the Spirit Stick!

If you or anybody you know has lots of spirit and wants to help spread it all through our division, click the link below to get started on an application to be a Spirit Chair!
Spirit Chairs will rally up our division as well as help teach and implement new cheers!

A Calling For A Task Coordinator!!

Hello Division 41 South Lions!

Hot Days, Cool Nights, Sun Sets at 8PM -- Summer is here! 
But even through your fun, remember Key Club doesn't slow down ... we're a special organize as we don't slow but powerhouses and volunteer year round!

With that in mind, Division 41 South will be hosting its second annual Division FREE Car Wash Competition fundraiser for PTP! 
It being a big event, we'll need spirited and eager task coordinators - two to be exact - and so I invite all to apply!!!
Any Division 41 South Lion can apply, the only bar being the deadline -- WEDNESDAY 11 JULY AT 6PM. 

Task coordinators will help with the planning of the car wash as well as organize supplies and volunteers for the event.

Officer Training Conference FLYER

I present to you the official OTC Flyer!!

APPLY TO BE A 2013 DCON TASK COORDINATOR!

Hello Division 41 South Lions!

A couple months ago was District Convention (DCON) 2012 up at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
This year, DCON 2013 will happen at the Anaheim Convention Center in March!

For any suffering from PDCOND - Post District Convention Depression- a feel that March is too far away ... no fear!  Get right back into the action and bring DCON 2013 to you by applying be a task coordinator! Position for Task Coordinator is open to ANYONE and highly encouraged!  Although there are requirements and the position may include lots of work, the job is real fun and real rewarding!

Task Coordinator Positions include EXPO Team and SAA Team.  All applications are due Monday June 25 by 6:00 pm.  Don't forget to read ALL directions if applying!!

EXPO Team would help out with organizing a 'Service Exhibit' - at this exhibit, booth and tables will be set up to display service projects (promote and advertise an event; share ideas on how to help out our partners in projects such as PTP, March of Dimes and CHOC) and allow all house of delegate voters to be able to personally meet candidates running for a district position!

SAA Leads would work with 'Sargent At Arms' in helping to promote a safe and healthy Key Club environment at DCON.  If you attended DCON before, SAA members are usually seen monitoring doors, helping with directions, enforcing dress code, and directing traffic and dispersing congestion.

Thank you to all who applied for a division position, all applicants were very well qualified and showed extreme enthusiasm towards the division, however only 1 Division Secretary, 1 Executive Assistant and 1 Newsletter Editor is allowed.

T-Shirt Results ... Are IN!

Evening Division 41 South Lions!

Polls for the 2012-2013 Division T-Shirt Design Contest have ended only 1 hour ago ...

and with the help of modern technology, the results have been quickly tabulated and ARE IN!

Nearly 150 Lions voiced their opinions...

Both the front and back design won on a margins ....
but both did win on majority.

For the front design, please congratulate Arina Wu (2013) of Tesoro High School.  

For the back design, pleasecongratulate Joseph Olmo (2014) of El Toro High School!

I want to thank all who submitted a T-Shirt Design -- all designs would have made AWESOME shirts.

And thank you to all who put in a vote -- I know it must have been hard to decide (in the end even I couldn't vote on one!).

Shirts WILL be on sale ... keep checking back for when the will be available for purchase!

Region 3 Officer Training Conference!

Hello Division 41 South Lions!

The Region 3 Officer Training Conference (OTC) is here! 

SATURDAY, JUNE 23, 2O12
FROM 1PM - 5PM
AT Costa Mesa High School (2650 Fairview Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626)

As our venue isn't very large, we would like to keep attendees to be current officers only; but please do come out as the Region 3 Lt.G's will be hosting and teaching a conference of helpful and fun workshops!  You'll have MUCH to take back to your home club, and you'll be able to meet officers from all over Orange County!
